THE PROJECT AND ITS REQUIREMENT

The new Luitpoldviertel district is being built on the former „Autohaus Krauss“ site in Nuremberg. Construction work on the complex will begin in mid-2022. The complex consists of several buildings that are bordered on three sides by tram tracks. From the forecasts and assessments, based on on-site measurements and building dynamic modelling, two areas with substantial measures for elastic decoupling were identified. At this point, the aspect of economic benefit is also taken into account.

THE SOLUTION

Horizontal vibration protection under the floor slab (partial areas) with various Cisador types. Vertical vibration protection on some basement walls with different Cisador and Ciflex types.
