LOKHÖFE CITY DISTRICT
REDUCTION OF VIBRATIONS AND SECONDARY AIRBORNE NOISE
THE PROJECT AND ITS REQUIREMENTS
A new city district called “Lokhöfe” is under construction in Rosenheim with a striking 10-storey business tower, designed by S&P Commercial Development GmbH.The building complex comprises student, nursing and retirement residential units. The development area stretches alongside and close to the railway line.
Following the assessment of the results measured on site, it is necessary to implement measures against the impact of secondary airborne noise. One of these is the elastic decoupling on the exterior basement walls in contact with the ground. These are on the side facing the railway and partly on the flanking side.
Groundwater below ground level is also to be expected.
The Solution
Calenberg products provide the elastic decoupling. Cisador types 10 and 80 were used. Single-layer Cisador 10 was applied to the top half and double-layer Cisador 80 to the bottom half of the exterior basement wall. The Cisador types are particularly suitable for the elastic decoupling of buildings in groundwater.
