πŸ‘¨‍πŸŽ“ πŸ‘©‍πŸŽ“ Bachelor's and master’s theses with Calenberg as a practice partner

This year, we once again supported the final theses of two students and would like to congratulate them on their successful completion.

The exam results were presented as an attendance-based class at Calenberg, with interested parties able to participate digitally. Yanick Baier (HAWK Holzminden, Master of Engineering, Energy-Efficient and Sustainable Construction) presented his master's thesis ‘Design and construction concept for multi-row steel end plate connections with thermal separation layer’ using the example of Calenberg Kerncompact bearings. Marcel Kaufmann (THWS Würzburg, Civil Engineering programme) discuss his bachelor's thesis ‘Comparison of the documents DIN EN 1337-3 ’Bearings in building construction" and VDI Guideline 6207 'Bearings in building construction' and comparison with experimental investigations", accompanied by his supervising professor, Prof. Dr.-Ing Christoph Müller de Vries from Bavaria. Such excellent work deserves a thank you in the form of a special Keco medal with a personalised engraving. The results of both theses will be incorporated into the further development of our support tools (e.g. CISTA).
