10th Concrete Conference | Calenberg Ingenieure

The 10th Concrete Conference took place this year in Leipzig with about 30 exhibitors and engaging presentations. Calenberg Ingenieure was welcoming the visitors to its booth in Saxony's largest city at the sold-out event with an audience of 250.

The most important topics included the redesign of DIN 1045 (Part 1000) and the latest findings on carbon concrete. In the case of carbon concrete, carbon fibres are used as reinforcement instead of steel, which have advantages over conventionally used materials in terms of load-bearing strength and dead weight. Issues like recycling and climate-neutral construction also met with keen interest. During the breaks, Calenberg Ingenieure was pleased to welcome many visitors; industry-centric discussions were held at the stand with familiar faces from the business world as well as with various people from partly non-specialist sectors.

Calenberg is already looking forward to the 11th Concrete Conference next year.
