MAINTENANCE AREAS OR WORKSHOPS FOR MACHINES AND VEHICLES

 
Machines and vehicles need to be inspected, serviced and, if necessary, repaired at regular intervals in order to maintain the vehicle or machine itself and its parts in a roadworthy or fully operational condition according to requirements. Maintenance includes, for example, replacing brake pads, topping up coolant, changing the oil, refuelling or even cleaning and preserving. There are a series of statutory requirements designed to ensure safety for people and the environment.
 
The work required is performed in suitable maintenance areas, where petroleum-based substances hazardous to water may spill. The OIL-EX absorption mat is laid on the ground surface to protect the subsoil from contact with harmful substances caused by uncontrolled oil discharge due to leaks or spillage. The mat can be used as mobile or stationary protection. OIL-EX absorbs liquid hydrocarbons such as oils, low-viscosity lubricants, fuels and organic solvents and selectively binds hydrocarbons from emulsions.
